MACH2 JEWL'S Fate CGC, HIC, JC, RPT, MAD

She received her CGC (Canine Good Citizen) at the age of 7 months and from there we have been working on agility.

  Femi finished her JC (Junior Coursing) title in Perry, GA last year (2003) by the skin of her paw! We think she missed the instinct to chase white plastic bags, but we still love to take her out & spend the day with friends on the lure coursing field. At IronDogs camp in Ballground, GA (2002) we did Flyball, Frisbee and Femi received her herding instinct certificate!  No, she's not a herding dog but, she loves sheep! We attended the AKC Agility Nationals in Tampa, Florida in January 2006. Femi did quite well ending up #6 hound at the show. Femi & I were also featured in a article in the April 2006 "Front and Finnish" magazine.

Femi earned her MACH (Master Agility Champion) in July 2006. She is the second Pharaoh Hound to achieve this title and the first female. She also earned her MAD title through USDAA and became the first MAD titled Pharaoh Hound. We ended up #1 Pharaoh Hound for 2005 & 2006 in agility.

We were invited to the AKC Agility Invitational in December 2006 in Long Beach, CA. To be invited to this prestige event you must be one of the top 5 of your breed. It was an honor to attend and represent the breed. There were 4 other Pharaoh Hounds there who were equally terrific. Femi was #2 Pharaoh at the Invitational and I got a interview from Animal Planet. My interview is at the start of the Invitational that was aired on Animal Planet. It is only one word, but it's a start. Hollywood hasn't called yet :)

January 2008 - Femi finishes her MACH2 with lots of Pharaoh Hound friends! We had a wonderful Pharaoh Hound entry in Nashville, TN and it was great fun! Goooo Femi!

As you can tell Femi is the dog that keeps everyone on their toes. She has TONS of energy!
